Retail sales in June

--retail sales in U.S. fell by the most in two years --raised concern near-record gasoline prices and falling home values are taking a bigger toll on consumers than economist forecast. --consumer spending accoutns for 2/3 economy and retail sales account for half of all consumer spending. So retail sales is contributing 1/3 of GDP
